Peach Parfait Square Duo

Yes, I am back! Thought you all lost me ... didn't you? No, all is well, just way too busy! As a matter of fact, last week we got baby chicks. Yep! 18 of them to be exact. They are keeping me busy. Also, I have been gardening and that is keeping me busy. Now, let me clarify that ... gardening in between the rain. It seems that when I am home, it is raining and when I go out, the sun comes out. So, I just told me dear friend (as I was leaving her house) that I was headed home and that was a sure sign it would rain. Thus, she is bringing her laundry in now!

Even though I have been quite busy, I thought I would share a card with you today. This card should be (as I am still playing around with it) one of our May class projects. Hope you can be there to get the details and make it. The next class will be held on Friday, May 20th. I am officially starting at 6 p.m., but if you need to come earlier, just let me know as I will be there a little earlier too.

Check back in tomorrow as I am hoping to post some new and exciting samples!

Good Afternoon. I have seen some peeks of sunshine come through today. Although, another day like yesterday is on my agenda ... don't think it is happening today though! It really adds to the looks of the cards. Hope you enjoy playing with your markers too. The neat thing about this card is that it is simple, but yet elegant looking. You can use any of the verses in the Sincere Saluations set to make a variety of cards with this. Enjoy! Nature Walk

Good Morning! Today I am sharing my most favorite stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog -- Nature Walk. I am really not a bird person at all, but I just love this set! Okay, I cheated a little on this card ... the background on the Top Note Die was stamped with the Weathered Background stamp which is retired (however, you can substitute it for the Sanded Background stamp that is current in the catalog) and the ribbon was a retired Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon (you can substitute it for the Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon). The Baja Breeze cardstock was crumbled up and then placed on (Emily's idea --- I wasn't too keen on it at first, but then fell in love with the texture). Oh, cool thing is ... in the Occasions Mini Catalog, they have matching Designer Series Paper (Botanical Gazette) which compliments the stamp set. Can't wait to use that! Enjoy!

Set: Nature Walk and Weathered
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, and Early Espresso
Ink: Baja Breeze, Early Espresso, and Crumb Cake
Accessories: Top Note Die, Big Shot, Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon, 5/16" Neutrals Jumbo
Brads

Check back in tomorrow for my latest creation!
