Vacation

Good Evening. I am sorry ... no pictures to post this evening. As a matter of fact, I have decided to take a mini vacation! Okay, I guess 7 days is more than a mini vacation isn't it? I have way too much to organize before next Tuesday gets here (back to school full time for us). So, I have decided to take a blogging vacation until then. With any luck, I will have something for you next Tuesday, September 7. Don't forget to check back in then! Hope you all enjoy your last days of summer vacation and have a blessed holiday weekend.

Under the Stars

Good Morning. Hope you all had a good weekend. You know how you just can't give just any card to those special in your lives? It just has to be a "special" card for just the right person! Here is a card that I made for my nephew for his birthday. It hard to tell by the scan, but the marshmallow part of the Smores has Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds sprinkled on it. Definitely one of those cards where the scan/computer doesn't do it justice. Enjoy!
Set: Under the Stars
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, and Always Artichoke
Ink: Early Espresso, Chocolate Chip, and Markers: Creamy Caramel and Close to Cocoa
Accessories: 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Dazzling Diamonds,
and Crystal Effects
Genny R. is the lucky one! She informed me that the "verse" from the Plum Greenhouse Garden card was from Flight of the Butterfly. Congratulations, Genny, you will receive an item from the NEW Holiday Mini Catalog. By the way, has anyone received their Holiday Mini Catalog? E-mail me with your favorite item from the mini catalog and I will enter your name in my drawing. Drawing will take place tomorrow morning. Winner receives an item (of my choice) from the NEW Holiday Mini Catalog!

Artistic Etchings

Good Morning. Our featured card for today is the 3rd in our series of 3 in the August Kit to Go. This card uses a NEW set from the catalog --- Artistic Etchings. I think they are really getting into this vintage look this year.

The August Kit to Go can be purchased for $20. The kit includes instructions, pictures of the cards, cardstock and embellishments for a total of 12 cards. You provide the ink and sets. This is very much like a Stamp-a-Stack class that I have. Remember, if you are considering to purchase one, please let me know by Friday, August 20th. They will be ready by September 1.

Also, a reminder that I have an upcoming Stamp-a-Stack class on Friday evening at 6 p.m. I still have a few spaces left. Let me know if you wish to join us! I will be posting a card to share with you tomorrow morning instead of scrapbook pages. Unfortunately, Scrappin' Friday is on hold until I purchase a new camera (hopefully this weekend) as my husband left it out in the rain on a ship! I forgive him though ... pictures have been saved! Hope you all enjoy your day! I know I will.
