Wedding Wishes

Good Evening. The card that I am sharing with you this evening uses a retired set called Wedding Elegance. I must confess... I make so little shower/wedding cards that I've never needed another set. This card was created for my Mom who is attending a bridal shower this weekend. Keep in mind, you can use the various other current wedding sets in place of the retired one.

Sets: Wedding Elegance
Cardstock: Basic Gray and Whisper White
Ink: Basic Gray and Versamark Pad
Accessories: Silver Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Basic Gray Ribon, Scallop Oval Punch, and
Magnetic Movers and Shapers Punch Windows

I will try my best to post tomorrow. Check back just in case. I must admit that summer is just too short and my list is just too-o-o-o big. There are many things I would like to accomplish before fall and very little time to do it in. Therefore, if I am not as faithful this summer as usual, I pray that you will be patient with me. Enjoy!

Great Friend Kit to Go

Good Morning. I apologize for my scan being crooked today. You know that scanning these cards for your view on the blog just does not do them justice. I have had customers tell me that before too. This is one of those cases. Mainly because the butterfly is a pop-up. There is another butterfly underneath in the NEW Pear Pizzazz color (that I am loving) which you cannot even see. The top butterfly pops up and looks like it is flying. Unfortunately, they get smashed down when scanned.

This card is a part of the Great Friend July Kit to Go. If you remember, I posted the other two cards a week or so ago. This is the third in the series of 3 cards. You will receive enough supplies to make 12 cards. 4 each of 3 different designs using the Great Friend Set. However, if you do not have this set, you can substitute another set you may have instead. I supply the cardstock and embellishments and you supply the set and ink. The kit is $20 and the deadline for the sign up for this kit is July 10.

Set: Great Friend
Cardstock: Pear Pizzazz, Cherry Cobbler, and Whisper White
Ink: Pear Pizzazz and Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch and 5/8" Whisper White Organza Ribbon

And the moment you have all been waiting for ... the winner of the blog candy from yesterday (free roll of 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon -- color of her choice) is ... Peggy C. Congratulations, Peggy! Check back in tomorrow to see the newest creation.

Another July Fourth

Good Morning. Hope you all had a marvelous Fourth of July? The card I am sharing with you today is the second one that I made for my other niece. Here, I was brave enough to use the Night of Navy instead of the Brilliant Blue.

By the way, I have been playing with some of the NEW colors and I am loving them! Can't wait to share them with you. I will be posting a sample tomorrow using some of them.

Also, I wanted to let you know that if you haven't invested in the On Your Birthday set, it is definitely worth it! I use it all the time. Perfect for getting them the cards on time or belated. I used the "look who's turning ( )" here on this card and used one of the verses from the set inside. Look carefully at the card itself (Night of Navy) as I have used a NEW textured embossing folder for the background.

Sets: Fourth of July and On Your Birthday
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Whisper White, and Real Red
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, and Real Red (Marker too)
Accessories: Real Red Stripped Grosgrain Ribbon, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch,
Dimensional, and Square Lattice Textured Embossing Folder

Drop me a comment or send me an e-mail to let me know that you checked my blog today and I will enter your name in my drawing. The winner will be pulled tomorrow morning and will receive a roll of 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon (color of their choice).

Fourth of July

Good Morning All. I just love this weather. How about you? Hope it sticks around. The card that I am sharing with you today was made for my niece's daughter. I will be making another one using the same set and will post it tomorrow. You see, there is a twin and their birthday is on July 4. This year they will be 11. I just love celebrating their birthday (which we did last weekend) as the Fourth of July is my favorite holiday. I love red, white, and blue. I must admit though, I could have easily used Night of Navy in place of Brilliant Blue (since it is retired), but I just could not bring myself to do it. Love that Brilliant Blue! Enjoy!

Set: Fourth of July and Birthday Bliss
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, and Brilliant Blue
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Brilliant Blue, and Real Red
Accessories: Vintage Brad, Large Tag Punch, Extra Large Tag Punch, and Real Red Stripped
Grosgrain Ribbon

Check back in tomorrow to see the latest with another Fourth of July card!
