Kit to Go # 2

Good Morning. Our card posted today is # 2 in the series of 3 in the March Kits to Go. This project is different than ones we have done before. The Taken with Teal band (under the cake layer) slides off. You open it up and inside is a spot for a gift card or money. You can also stamp a greeting inside as well. If you are interested in one of these kits, please contact me by March 26. They will be ready by April 1. They are $20 each. The kit includes everything except for the stamps and there will be enough to make 12 cards - 4 each of 3 designs. To complete the projects as shown, you will need to have the following stamp sets or another suitable set:

With All My Heart and Birthday Bliss (which is a FREE Sale-a-bration set right now)

These card kits will be available through the blog (if you are local, I will deliver to you) and can be mailed to you for an additional shipping charge ($5 priority mail). I have slightly changed my mind. I may make a couple extra for those who decide after the date that they are interested in one. If there are still any leftover by the next class, I will have them available there. I will be posting card # 2 tomorrow which has a unique fold to it as it is a gift card holder. Tomorrow I will be posting card #3.

The BINGO pull for today is Soft Suede. This is an "In Color" so it could show up anywhere on your card. There are only three cards that have this color. They are # 20, 28, and 34. If you happen to win BINGO on an "In Color" you get your prize PLUS $10 in product from the catalog!

Kit to Go for March

Good Morning. The sun isn't quite shining here, but it is still a good morning.

My featured card for today uses the NEW Extra Large Fancy Flower punch. It is a bit hard to see on this scan, but it is in the middle and it is raised with Dimensionals. This card is one of three in our March Kit to Go pack. There will be a total of 12 cards in each kit (3 designs) and enough supplies to make 4 of each card. This is very much like a Stamp-a-Stack Class that I hold a couple of times a year. The fee will be $20 for each kit. You will have until March 26, to order the kit and it will be ready for you by April 1. To complete the projects as shown, you will need to have the following stamp sets or another suitable set:

With All My Heart and Birthday Bliss (which is a FREE Sale-a-bration set right now)

These card kits will ONLY be available through the blog (if you are local, I will deliver to you) and can be mailed to you for an additional shipping charge ($5 priority mail). I have slightly changed my mind. Previously, I posted that I wouldn't have these card kits available at a meeting. This is basically true. I am making these kits by demand and they will be made one time only (between March 26, and April 1). I may make a couple extra for those who decide after the date that they are interested in one. If there are still any leftover by the next class, I will have them available there. I will be posting card # 2 tomorrow which has a unique fold to it as it is a gift card holder.

The BINGO pull for today is "I" Certainly Celery. Anyone getting close? I know we have a February WINNER who has claimed her prize. Congratulations to Suzy Z. She will receive her choice of one of the Sending Love Epoxy Brads from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

The card that I have posted today is available as a card kit. In this scan it is hard to see, but I do have two vintage brads on the left of my top layer. I am thinking about changing them to gold so that you see them better. Anyway, I have several of these kits available. They are $1.25 or $1.75 for those who need them mailed. You can request as many as you want. They include cardstock and embellishments (brads).

Sets: Very Vintage Wheel, Vintage Vogue, and Teeny Tiny Wishes (words)
Cardstock: Eggplant Envy and Very Vanilla
Ink: Old Olive, Very Vanilla, and Eggplant Envy (the background behind the flower is stamped
off)

I am giving you all a Challenge for the Week. I just love to see cards with a different fold. So this week, I am challenging you to send me a card (via picture through e-mail is fine) that you have made using a different fold. Your name will go in a basket for a challenge drawing. Take some time to have some fun!

Thinking Spring

Good Morning. I am thinking spring this morning; how about you? I just know if we all think all good thoughts about spring and daydream that it will come sooner (at least in our minds)!

My creation today uses the Color Wonder Crayons. I have been challenging myself to use accessories that I haven't used in awhile or that I don't normally use. I love the enhancement that these watercolor crayons have. I colored the flowers, stems, and leaves in and then I took a paint brush and very little water and gave it the watercolor look. It really softens up the colors. Enjoy!
