It has come to my attention that my post on Nov. 12, was cut off and the part about "send me an e-mail to let me know you checked out my blog" was not listed. I am not sure why as I know that I typed it. However, it is possible that I could have saved the post and then edited it and sent out the original one --- don't remember that, but I guess anything is possible. Either way, I apologize!

So with that said, let's give it another try. Send me a comment on e-mail to let me know that you are reading my blog for some blog candy. Yummy! The winner will receive something from me from the New Mini Occasions Catalog when it comes out. Trust me, you don't want to miss this opportunity as the products are fabulous. I should be able to give you a sneak peek on December 12, at our next class! I will draw the name on Saturday morning and there will be no post tomorrow (but I will have one on Saturday morning) since I will be busy preparing for the fundraiser event tomorrow. Enjoy!

Patterned Pines Card Kits

Good Morning All. I am just loving this Patterned Pines set. Although if I stamp this card again (which I am planning on doing for some SWAPS), I think I will stamp the trees a little higher so that there is not so much white space in between. Also, I am going to play around and see how it will look if I put the white piece through an embossing folder after I stamp it. I think it will add a little pizzazz to it too. I have these kits available...if interested, let me know how many you would like. Enjoy!

Cat Punch

Good Morning All. Monday's seem to get away from me sometimes. I am gone all day Monday (every other Monday) and when I arrive home, sometimes the load is unbearable. I will try to get better at posting on those Mondays (prepare ahead of time). To make it up to you, I will be posting on Saturday this week! Enjoy!

Our featured punch for the day is the cat punch. Take note here that the body and face were sponged with Pumpkin Pie ink before gluing together. The cardstock colors used are Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun, Whisper White, and Basic Black.

The body itself uses the new 1 3/4" Circle Punch. The face is made with the 1" Circle Punch and the cheeks use the 1/2" Circle Punch. The eyes and nose were created with the 1/4" circle punch on the Crop-a-Dile. Black marker was used for the eyes and whiskers. The tale was created with the Large Oval Punch and then cut. The paws (my favorite creative part) were created using the Boho Blossoms punch. Now for the ears...Emily got me on this one! I actually had to call her (since she is not currently here) to ask her how she did it! She used the 5 Petal Flower Punch (that is currently on sale still from $15.95 to $10.99). The Pumpkin Pie is actual size and the yellow is trimmed down a bit. This cute cat should easily turn into a tiger if you want. I would recommend using a slight smaller/bigger body along with the one he has and give him some stripes. Anyone up for the challenge?

Don't forget that the new Deal of the Week is in effect. See all the details on my Demonstrator Business Website at http://www.faithfulstampers.stampinup.net/ This offer is good until Friday, October 30, at 6 p.m. I will be placing orders after that date.

Present Card

Good Afternoon all! Sorry for the crookedness of this sample, but I am heading out the door and once I explain, I am sure that you will understand.

The featured present card for today is a little unique. The top part (designer paper) lifts up. The brad that is on the card is a hinge...so the left side lifts up. The red piece is doubled so you can actually put something inside the red. Therefore, when I went to scan this card, it moved while I was putting it in the scanner...the sample really isn't crooked! Hope that makes sense. If not, please ask. Enjoy!

Set: Oval All
Cardstock: Rose Red, Soft Suede, and Soft Suede Designer Series Paper
Ink: Rose Red
Accessories: Gold Brad, Soft Suede Polka Dotted Ribbon, Scallop Oval Punch, Small Oval Punch,
and Scallop Square Clear Bigz Die

Sneak Peek of Stamp Fest

I decided to give you all a sneak preview of one of the cards that we will be making at Stamp Fest on October 10. I hope you like this card as much as I do. The picture definitely doesn't do it's justice. The ribbon just makes it look so elegant.

I still have a couple more spaces left for Stamp Fest and hope you can join us. We will be having lots of drawings for prizes from the catalog and there will be demonstrations and techniques that feature new products! If you are interested in coming, but aren't 100% positive you can make it, please still contact me at stampinginfaith@cescowildblue.com and let me know and I will count you in as a possibility. Enjoy!

Drop me an e-mail to let me know that you read my blog today and I will put your name in my basket for an upcoming drawing. The winner will receive a set of cards from Stamp Fest (if attending you will have two sets total). The drawing will be on Monday, October 5. Look for the winner!

Daisy Card Kit

Good Morning All. Hope you all are having a great start to this week? Today's featured card kit is a re-creation from an old card that I did for a class years ago. I updated it using current product. The Very Vanilla square underneath the big daisy is a miniature card that opens up. The picture doesn't do it justice!

Sets: Simply Said and Three Little Words
Cardstock: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, and Very Vanilla
Ink: Perfect Plum and Mellow Moss
Accessories: Celery Wide Organdy Ribbon, 5/16" Neutral Brads, the Flower, Daisies #2 Die, and
a Pop-Up Glue Dot

These kits include everything except for the adhesive to put them together and the actual stamps. If attending an upcoming meeting, you are more than welcome to stamp the exact images on them that I used as I can bring the stamps/ink with me. Otherwise, you can use whatever stamps you have at home. They are available for $1 each or $1.50 each if you are long distance (includes the shipping). I have several of these available, please let me know if you are interested in multiples because they can be assembled together in one bag easier.

Now the moment you have all been waiting for...the winner of our blog candy for yesterday is...
Davona Palmer. She will receive the Linen Thread as used in yesterday's featured card. Enjoy!
